Turkey has known to be one of the greatest destination for tourists. Every year it receives over 35 million visitors. The European nation has a lot to offer ranging from ancient ruins, historic sites, magnificent landscapes, marvelous beach resorts, delicious cuisines to wonderful people. A number of factors blend in to make it a perfect travel destination for holidaymakers, tourists as well as business people. 1. Friendly People Turks are friendly and hospitable people. They greatly value visitors. A Turk may welcome you to his or her after you have known him or her for about half an hour. Many consider it a great honor if you accept the invite. Once in their homes, they will ply you with drinks and food. These include the famous drink which is known as Turkish coffee, range of salty and sweet finger foods, fresh fruits and assorted nuts.
