Comic: Does having a Japanese spouse make it easier to learn the language?

This is a continuation of yesterday’s comic. A lot of people assume that having a Japanese spouse automatically means you can speak the language better. Ditto to other languages. Of course it helps having someone to occasionally practice Japanese with – but we built our relationship in English.
