Comic: You Don’t LOOK American…

To all my Americans abroad – has this ever happened to you?  Or ditto to people with a different nationality that somehow don’t “look the part.” It doesn’t happen that often… but at least once or twice a year, when I’m chatting with another expat (usually from Europe/Africa/Asia), they will drop this statement. I’m never quite sure how to respond.
