I get that “onsen dates” are kind of weird – given the fact that the men’s and women’s bathes are completely separate (of course), but Ryosuke and I love going on “onsen dates.” There is a huge onsen/spa/bath house about a 20 minute bike ride from our house, so we try to go to onsen once a month. For those of you who don’t know what onsen is, check out the Onsen wikipedia page. I also wrote a post on how to do Japanese onsen and about how onsen fixed most of my body issues. And every time we go, there are always quite a few crows looking in on the women’s bath section – not the men’s. Creepy crows.
