1. It hasn’t been done before. I know what you’re going to say. Everything has been done before. There are no “new” ideas. Yes, there are a couple of books written from the perspective of a white, American woman married to a Japanese man (ok, so I only know of one, but I’m sure there are others). There is also a comic book (“My Darling is a Foreigner“) written by a Japanese woman, married to an American man, about their daily life in Japan. There is also a famous comic (which is going to be a book soon!), “My Korean Husband” about an Australian woman, married to a Korean man, living in rural Korea. All of these are close, but none “exact.” But as far as I know, there is not a comic book created by an American woman (let alone a “Texan!”), married to a Japanese man, about their daily life in Japan. It doesn’t exist. I actually have the ability to be the first in this market. And that’s pretty awesome. My autobiographical comic book, “My Japanese Husband Thinks I’m Crazy” will be the first in its kind. 2. I want to have something on my name Back [...]
