Back during my honeymoon, I started drawing comics as a “buffer” from normal blog posts. Except now I like doing comics more than writing. And I have also started doing videos. So I guess my blog has completely morphed over the last year. In any case, I’ve had several people ask how I draw my comics. The short answer is that I draw them all by hand. Kind of like this video. I tried using a computer/tablet back when I first started drawing comics, but it ended up just being frustrating and difficult (and I have endless respect for people who CAN draw on a tablet). I couldn’t make it past that steep learning curve, or whatever. But technology aside, I LOVE the feeling of pen and paper under my fingers. It makes me feel powerful. I wanted to make a video showing the drawing process – and I ended up LOVING how it turned out. I might make more of these for future comics :)
