I’ve been married for a year now, which means I’ve already beaten the marriages of Kim Kardashian (the first one - thankfully I was out of the country for that whole coverage thing), Katy Perry and Russell Brand (who, by the way, I was rooting for), and a surprising number of other celebrities/people who (for whatever reason), weren't able to make it quite to the one year mark.
I've come to realize that promising "Till death do us part" is easy and romantic, but actually choosing to live it out every, single day is hard work.
Thankfully, I'm married to someone who is a much better person than I am - and I fall in love with him a little bit more every day - so after twelve months of marriage bliss, I have no complaints. Like, at all.
